| The mission of the Descant Arts & Letters Foundation is to publish excellent work, to introduce new writers to the community, and to educate the public about arts in Canada, all within a socio-cultural context - and this mission is realized mainly - though not exclusively - through the production of Descant.
Producing a journal of the quality and calibre
of Descant is a costly endeavour, and is one
that is constantly challenged by increasing production costs, and
decreasing publication grants. In keeping our standards high,
we benefit greatly from your support.
Through Descant, writers and artists receive
the encouragement, support and visibility necessary to nurture
the arts.
Your generosity is vital to maintaining Descant's
pivotal position in the literary and arts community. Donations of any amount are appreciated and tax deductible.

All category donations include the following (1 year): recognition in Descant and on the website; invitation to attend Descant events; invitation to tour the office; subscription to Descant.
In addition, categories Archangels, Cherubim and Seraphim receive a back-issue package of Descant.
